Peer2Peer was started by a Churchill student

Founded in the fall of 2003 by then Churchill senior Erik Kimel, Peer2Peer Tutors has its strongest foundation in Potomac, Maryland. We have served over 300 Churchill students since our inception, working with teachers, guidance counselors and students to ensure your child’s academic success. Our tutors from Churchill are the best and brightest 10-12th graders who not only have perfect academic records, but also have the communication skills necessary to be an effective tutor. If that’s not enough, we take great pride in our Tutor Training method and in-person sessions that teach our tutors how to get the information from the page into the student’s brain!

In addition, our tutors specialize in making the transition from Cabin John and Hoover Middle School into Churchill. They can shed light on the social and academic best practices needed to ensure a healthy and smooth transition to high school. We know what it’s like to be in your child’s shoes because it wasn’t too long ago that we were in their shoes ourselves! Our tutors are available to work with Churchill students in any academic subject, foreign language, musical instrument and study skills.
