Proudly serving the McLean community!
Peer2Peer Tutors empowers top McLean High School students to tutor and mentor their peers in K-12 academic subjects. We serve students from Chesterbrook and Franklin Sherman ES all the way through the rigorous IB courses offered at McLean HS. In addition, one of our most popular services is academic tutoring and TJ Prep for Longfellow Middle School students. Our tutors specialize in mitigating the transition of middle to high school, instilling confidence and serving as an older student mentor.
All tutoring is 1:1, in-home, and range between $35-$45 per hour. A whole lot less than what other companies charge in McLean! Plus, our tutors are not only screened for unweighted 3.7 GPA and SAT requirements, but they also recieve in-person Tutor Training which is run by the Peer2Peer MOM (Management Operational Mentor). In McLean, Kathy Michelman, former FCPS teacher for 20 years, runs our branch. We like to match students with a tutor who shares similiar interests and passions. After all, MOM knows best.
Overall, we know what it’s like to be in your child’s shoes because it wasn’t too long ago that we were in their shoes ourselves! Our tutors are available to work with McLean area students in any academic subject, foreign language, musical instrument and study skills.
